You won't be setting any of this up yet — that's exactly what the live session is for — but you'll hear these words flying around a lot at your workshop. Here's the cheat sheet so you're not nodding along pretending to get it:
- Skill
- A saved, reusable task Claude already knows how to run — think of it like a recipe card it's memorized, so you never re-explain the steps twice. A bunch of stuff on your Lesson 4 list is about to become one of these.
- Connector
- The link between Claude and the other tools you actually use — Gmail, Google Drive, Canva — so it can reach in and do things instead of just talking about them. A few items on your list are stuck waiting on exactly this.
- Scheduled task
- A task Claude just... runs. On its own. On a schedule. No nagging required. Every recurring thing on your list — the weekly check-in, the monthly report — this is built exactly for that.
By the time your workshop kicks off, you'll already have Claude installed everywhere, a real chat under your belt, and a list of everything you're ready to hand off. Workshop day is just where we turn that list into reality — see you there.
